Project Overview: A UK golf club sought to improve its clubhouse terrace, which members rarely used because of changeable British weather. We installed a motorized louvered pergola over a 7m x 6m lounge area.
Client Challenges: Frequent showers and cool winds meant the terrace sat empty. The club wanted a cover that could open on fine days and close to provide dry, sheltered space when the weather turned, without damaging the course-side view.
Our Solution: Our louvered pergola uses adjustable aluminum blades that close into a waterproof roof with hidden drainage, so members stay dry in rain. The low-profile structure preserves views across the fairway. Prefabricated parts and a clear assembly guide kept installation simple.
Project Results: The terrace is now a popular member lounge used in most weather. The club reports higher terrace occupancy and a more attractive clubhouse that helps with member satisfaction and retention
